Over 6 years of experience, with a background in systems. I've led projects and the architecture of smart city and IoT products: federated microfrontends, Domain-Driven Design, hexagonal architecture and monorepos, and their deployment with Docker and CI/CD.

Right now

I'm building Overlight, an open source app for directing a team of AI agents from a board, and running my own homelab.

Tech

Languages TypeScript, JavaScript, PHP, C++, Lua
Frontend Vue.js, Nuxt, Angular, React, Electron
Backend Node.js, Express, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB
Architecture DDD, hexagonal, monorepos, microfrontends
DevOps Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Linux, AWS

What I've done

  • Unified several products into a single platform with federated microfrontends (Module Federation).
  • Defined the architecture of new products from scratch: Domain-Driven Design, hexagonal architecture and monorepos.
  • Led a web and desktop product end to end: a Windows application that integrates hardware (ID card readers and more) and a web management platform, through to its server and deployments.
  • Built modules for public administration management platforms.
  • Ran systems: Linux and Docker servers, automated deployments with GitLab CI, and AWS services (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, EC2).
  • Custom backends and websites with Node.js, Express, MySQL and WordPress.

  • Overlight: an open source app for directing a team of AI agents from a board. One agent plans each ticket and implements it on its own branch, and another reviews it before handing it back with screenshots and the merge request description. Editable workflows, cost and time tracking, and reports. Nuxt, TypeScript, SQLite, Electron, Docker.
  • Habitea: a task and habit app, gamified as a bee-themed resource management game.
  • Easy C++ Projects: a Visual Studio Code extension that creates C++ projects for GCC, WSL-GCC, Clang and MSVC. Over 220,000 installs on the Marketplace.
  • Fenix: its successor and my final degree project (graded 10/10), a Visual Studio Code extension that automates creating projects of any kind: it downloads and processes files, creates Docker containers and more. With its templates, on the Marketplace.

For fun

  • Luna: visual sketches in Lua on top of SFML (C++), with a VS Code extension and an npm package manager.
  • MaCCOS and CCAppMarket: an operating system and an app store for ComputerCraft, in Lua.
  • MyCpuArch: an emulator for a computer with my own architecture, with its compiler.
  • ArtLang: a programming language, in Rust.

This Forgejo

I host it myself, in my homelab: around 40 self-hosted apps, deployed declaratively from Git, with monitoring and dependencies that keep themselves up to date. All my GitHub repositories are mirrored here automatically.
